Hush Tarot review

The Hush Tarot by Jeremy Hush and produced by US Games “beckons readers to explore an alluring world where animal and human spirits are unified, and even the smallest creatures like ravens and hares have great significance.” Inspired by early 19th century art with imposed states of decay this alternate world reminds me of a story book from my childhood.

Based within the RWS system it’s imagery takes it’s own route which potentially could be trying for new readers. On the other hand it’s imagery beckons me into it’s world to explore and has me wanting to explore more within the cards!

The images depicted do not give a superficial understanding of the meaning but rather one you have to go within to find. In the Hermits case, pictured above, it’s about just that; Going within to find your answers, to tap into that source within one’s self. There is much more going on inside that is far more complex than what we let the outside world see.

Some cards, like the Death pictured above, are excellent direct translations of the meanings. Though this person has died we see this providing life to the birds offspring. A constant cycle, give and take.

I couldn’t help but notice as I was doing my flip through for the video I kept finding Jeremy Hush’s signature, or initials hidden in most of the pictures. It then became a little game while I was quickly looking through the cards to see if I could find everyone. Do you know if his signature is hidden in EVERY card? Or just a few ?

Take 5 seconds on the clock… look at the picture to the right. If you can find Hush’s signature comment down below!

Good luck 🙂

Overall the Hush tarot gets a solid 4 out of 5 acorns from me. You get a good quality durable box, a little guidebook, good card stock and super fun and fantasyful artwork! What are your opinions on the deck? Have it? What are your experiences working with it?
