CoronaVirus and Self Quarantine Activities

With the CoronaVirus impacting the world in so many ways, were currently living in a time that’s a little unsettling. No matter where you go you can’t escape hearing about the CoronaVirus and it’s effects on everyone’s life currently. Like every other American, I’m taking this news in stride. I’m trying to remain calm and be completely rationale in this situation. I’m simply not going to allow the fear of the CoronaVirus to control my life. I’m trying to look at the positives of this situations and look at fun productive activities that I can do while I self quarantine during CoronaVirus and give you some creative ideas to spark some passion within you to have some fun, give you a giggle and what you can be doing during this time of self quarantine of the CoronaVirus.

Spend more time with your deck

If your anything like me sometimes I can get so wrapped up in life and all of my responsibilities that it’s so easy for me to overlook a lot of important things in my life. I am SO work and goal focused that I let these important things go to the wayside.

( This is exactly why I am always attempting to focus on balance in my life. Although it’s not always possible and on the forefront of my consciousness I like to think that I am self aware enough that when I reach certain points that I do make necessary changes)

Spending time with my decks are one of those causalities of life that I simply have not made time for. While spending time at home I feel this is the perfect opportunity to pull out some of my decks and revisit them!

Do you have any decks you haven’t used in a while? Are you like me and sometimes just get so wrapped up in life you neglect other aspects?

Read a book

Another thing I’m infamous for is buying books that I am interested in….. and then they just sit there because I get super busy! Well, with this instance I think it’s less of that I’m busy and more of I just am not sure that I know how to relax.

I was listening to a podcast while working and the person was suggesting how to implement change into your life. His example was pairing an action or behavior with an already established pattern. Like me, since he had coffee every morning as part of his routine, he kept a book by his coffee so that when he set down to have his morning coffee instead of checking his phone he would read a chapter in the morning. This helped to establish his routine of reading and “tricked” the brain into liking reading again because he paired the action of reading with the action of drinking coffee which he enjoyed and already was a routine.

I recently got a new book on tarot called Truly Easy Tarot- Simple Readings and Practical Teachings by Mantis that I have slowly but surely been reading and really enjoying so far! I still want to finish more of the book before I give a more in depth account of how much I’ve been enjoying it… I will be coming out with a blog/video soon of my favorite books on divination so keep an eye out for that πŸ˜‰

Do you have any books your currently reading or want to read? How can you make time for this ?

Remember when I was working on a tarot journal ? Yea… me neither….

This list is starting to sound more and more depressing! lol

Like, here’s the list of all the best things in life I never make time for because I’m too busy working! lol

Tarot Journaling can be a fun and relaxing way not only to connect with a deck, aid in the learning of the tarot and also to keep track of not only your understanding of the cards but your readings… and really anything you want to keep in there… it’s your journal πŸ™‚ Do you boo!

Total plug here but why wouldn’t I take the opportunity to mention this !?!? lol

Now that your self quarantined from the coronavirus what a better way to overlook at the things mentioned above just because you want to lay back, kick your heels up, and zone out a little and just be entertained than by watching my videos πŸ™‚

I’ve created all these AH-Mazing play lists like:

They’re fun AND informative and all you have to do is hit the ‘PLAY ALL’ button and just let those videos ride πŸ™‚

What will you be doing?

What are some other fun, creative ideas of things you will be or could be doing while your self quarantined from the coronavirus?

Comment down below and share with the rest of the Squirrel Nest so we can all learn and grow together! Much love my friend!
